East Kilbride Rep Theatre Club's April production is Whisky Galore. This classic Scottish play was written in 1947 by Compton McKenzie and adapted for the stage by James Scotland. The play not only calls for a large cast, but also a large amount of whisky bottles - full and otherwise!

Every May East Kilbride Rep Theatre Club hosts an annual competition in which various amateur dramatics clubs from all over the country perform a short one act play. Every play is adjudicated** at the end of each night - publicly to the audience and privately to the cast and production team. On the final night of the Festival trophies from six different categories are awarded.
