The farcical musical comedy A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum opens the 2012 year for East Kilbride Rep Theatre Club to chase away the winter blues and raise the spirits. Forget the weather, forget the economic times and let EK Rep transport you back to ancient Rome when the sun shone all the time, the wine flowed and the girls… well, were girls!

Set in North Carolina, The Dixie Swim Club tells of five Southern women who first met in their college swim team and who spend a long weekend together each year free from husbands, kids and jobs, to catch up, laugh and meddle in each other’s lives.

The winners' pictures will also be on display at our pantomime exhibition, 'Oh, Yes It Is!', in East Kilbride Arts Centre until the 31st of December.
