East Kilbride Repertory Theatre Club is one of the most active amateur theatre groups in Scotland.  Each year we stage seven productions.

Children's Pantomime Auditions

EK Rep's One Act Festival

Wednesday 16th - Saturday 19th May, 2012.  7.30pm
East Kilbride Village Theatre 

Every May East Kilbride Rep Theatre Club hosts an annual competition in which various amateur dramatics clubs from all over Scotland perform a short one act play.  Every play is adjudicated at the end of each night - publicly to the audience and privately to the cast and production team.  On the final night of the Festival trophies from six different categories are awarded.

Laying the Ghost

East Kilbride Village Theatre

Margot Buchanan is a witty ex-actress in a retirement home.  She is visited by a young actress who is having an affair with Leo, Margot’s ex-husband and by Leo’s current wife Judy.  Leo arrives but suffers a fatal heart attack.  Thus the scene is set for chaotic hilarity as Leo’s ghost appears, anxious to sort out matters between the three women, and visible only to Margot’s psychic friend Freda.
