2012 Adjudicator - Dr Paul K. Dougall

Dr Paul K. Dougall trained, initially, at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama and Glasgow University and, thereafter, completed his PhD at Strathclyde University.

After working in Glasgow and Lanarkshire schools he became a lecturer in Drama and English at Notre Dame and Hamilton Colleges of Education.

Between 1982 and 2010 he was on the academic staff of the University of Strathclyde as Head of the Department of Applied Arts and, latterly, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Education.

Since retiring he has been busy with his consultancy practice and running his dance studio in Glasgow.  He is also involved in research activity and external examining with a number of universities.

He has two grown-up children and four grandchildren and enjoys swimming and walking.  A busy man maybe, but he has found the time to adjudicate our festival once again.

Dr Dougall previously adjudicated the EK Rep Festival in 2010, 2009, 1998 and 1992.
